Sweetly Scented Sheets

Imagine sleeping on sheets that smell as if they've dried in a lavender field in Provence. It's easy! Fill a mister bottle with distilled water (available in drug stores) and add a few drops of lavender essential oil. Shake and mist over your sheets, then prepare to relax. You can also fill a travel-size bottle with the soothing mixture and scent your car and office.

Home Decor Book

Whether you’re repainting a wall, covering a chair or choosing a mirror for over the mantel, your home notebook will be indispensable.

Walking past a store, you spot the perfect chair for your bedroom—and it’s on sale! But will it complement or clash with your bedspread and curtains? If you have a home notebook, you won’t have to guess. You’ll know!

What’s a home notebook? It’s simply a place where you organize the home essentials: things like floor plans, room, door and window measurements, ceiling heights and architectural details. It’s also a good place to keep samples from each room: fabric and carpet swatches, paint chips, wallpaper scraps and the finish on your hardwood floors. For times when you need inspiration, you can create pockets in which to stash photos from catalogues and magazines or favorite articles you’ve printed.

And with this information close at hand, you’re almost guaranteed having everything you need to confidently grab that bargain chair, repair a wall or just give a room a fresh, new look. Once you start using a home notebook, you’ll wonder how you lived without it!

Airbus

I am one who believes that it is good to fly in comfort but the thought of flying on something that is referred to a bus in the sky seems like a bit much. This is a picture of the newly released Emirates aircraft. It is a Airbus A380 super jumbo jet. It is outfitted with two "shower spas," 14 first-class suites and a bar& lounge.

The plane, fitted out with lie-flat beds, flat screen televisions and spacious, windowed bathrooms in first and business class seems like it is very luxurious and would be perfect for long overseas trips but I have to wonder how they keep this thing in the air. I am adventurous to a certain extent but this jumbo jet is too new and you couldn't pay me enough to take a flight on it.
