I love to shop. In another life I think that I would be a perfect personal shopper. I am a product junkie and a clothes junkie and shoes, purses etc junkie. If it is pretty, I like it.
Well ladies & gents, my prayers have been answered. There is a new store in the area and it is called Steve & Barry's. These guys are brilliant in my book. The grand opening sale is (are you sitting down for this?) $8.98 for everything in the store. Yes, you read right $8.98 for everything.
I love love love Sarah Jessica Parkers impeccable style and they have her line Bitten by SJP. I bought wool coats from her line for less than $9.00, nowadays you can almost spend that on a latte. I hear the normal prices are up to $19.98 and I still think that is a good deal.
Who said that you have to spend an arm and a leg to look good. You just have to know how to mix and match peices. You can put a more affordable clothing peice with your favorite more expensive peice add a nice handbag and people will think that you look like a million bucks but you spent very little. It is all about mixing and matching in my opinion.
Has anyone else had a Steve & Barrys experience? If so, did you have a complete melt down like I had when I walked in and saw all of the beautiful bounty for so little cash? If not a Steve & Barry's experience do you have a store in your area that is similar where you get a lot for the money?

I'm with u on being a shopaholic, i have been bit by the Steve&Barry as well..i turned my $$$$Jordan wearing son onto it and things havent been the same..if dad is not wearing Jordans, he's certainly not buying them for anyone else..I'd rather pay for college than buy sneakers..lol..he got the message real quick..

Whew! I am glad that I am not the only one with the shopping bug. That store is great if you have kids because they can be fashionable and no one can tell the price that they paid for their clothes and at that price, they will have a closet full of the clothes. The only thing their school mates will wonder is how they can afford to wear something different everyday. LOL with you.
